God's Grace For A Mother

Your Price: $10.00

In this Christian skit, Mom is having her devotions and asking God for grace to accomplish her tasks that she is called to do as a wife and mother.  Suddenly her husband appears interrupting her with questions and needs.  The teenage daughter enters and she needs to talk to her about a matter that involves some discipline.  Dad comes back with suggestions for a dinner party and asking her opinion about buying another car.  The daughter comes back in asking advice on how she should deal with her friend at school.  Clearly, the Mom has a full day ahead of her and is probably not shown as much respect as she deserves for all she does .

3 actors (One male, one female and one teenage female).  About 7-8 mins.
Mom Was A Teenage Ninja

Your Price: $10.00

This is a humorous sketch about a daughter who learns about her parents' past secret lives.  The mother and daughter are working together on a wedding dress for someone when her friend calls to share his idea of 'getting to know your mother better' for Mother's Day.  She thinks she already knows all about her mom... but suddenly she is shocked when Mom begins to reveal the strangest things.  The stuff is pretty crazy (Rock band?  CIA?)  and all done for laughs as Dad and Mom seem the most normal people on earth.  Read the excerpt.  (Co-written with my good friend, Stu Kilgour)

2 females and one male (small part).  The daughter is mentioned in the script as being 18, but that can easily be changed to any age you need.  She should probably be at least a teenager.  Runs between 6 -7 minutes.
Having Him Around

Your Price: $5.00

This is a one woman version of the skit, "Still In His Pajamas."  A woman receives a phone call and begins to share with her friend about how life has changed since her husband retired and is home all the time now.  Some of it is humorous and some serious as we hear how she copes with the new way of living.  Through all the difficult adjustments, she still finds something good in it.

One actress.   about 6-7 mins.
Still In His Pajamas

Your Price: $5.00

This is a two person version of the monologue, "Having Him Around".   A woman is visited by her friend and it seems that all they can talk about is what things are like now that her husband has retired and is home all the time.  Sometimes humorous and sometimes serious, this skit ends with her realizing the good things that she finds in her new situation.

Two women.  About 7-8 mins.
A Mother's Heart

Your Price: $15.00

In this MOTHER'S DAY skit, two sisters are trying to decide what to do for Mom on Mother's Day. (could easily be 2 brothers) They toss ideas back and forth but nothing seems right. What they really want to do is something that is really on their mother's heart. One of them gets her prayer journal and begins reading her personal prayers, as the other one objects to this invasion of privacy. But when they hear what their mom prays for each of them... they quickly sober up to the truth that the best present would be for them to change some things about themselves.

(2 actors. Only about 8 minutes)
